We're Troop 28008 based in North Allegheny.
This troop doesn't just sell cookies, we want to help create a better world. We're raising awareness with people in our area to let you know that if a lot of people can make this one tiny change, it can make a major impact on the world we live in.
We're talking about reusable bags. This website will give you some practical tips and advice so we can say goodbye to plastic bags forever.
WHY IT MATTERS
If we can get people to stop using plastic/paper bags then it will help with the environment and the climate.

Common Challenges Require Simple Solutions
When cashiers automatically put items into store bags...
Tell or show your cashier your reusable bags before you hand them your items for purchase.
If you don’t have a reusable bag with you...
First consider if you really need a bag. Could you carry your purchases in your hands? If the answer is no then it is okay to get a bag just plan better so it doesn’t happen again.
If things aren’t going well it is easy to start to feel discouraged and quit...
If you mess up and forget to bring a bag it is okay and you can just plan better for the future.
